Last year, Max-Peter had the exciting opportunity to participate in an innovation training within CMP. The innovation training served as a kick-off for CMP’s innovation work and aims to strengthen CMP’s overall expertise in working with sustainable innovation, promoting an innovative mind-set, activating the potential in the organisation and streamlining development processes linked to CMP’s work
CMP established has a clear target of being climate neutral in our own operations by 2025. An integral part of this work is our transition from natural gas to biogas for the heating of CMP’s properties in Malmö. The decision to phase out natural gas was made near the end of 2020 and the shift was accomplished in the beginning of last year.
One significantly important part of the efforts to achieve CMP’s climate goal of carbon neutrality by 2025 is the replacement of diesel-powered cars and staff buses at the terminals with electric powered vehicles, and the shift of fuel from fossil diesel to HVO in machines and cranes.
ARC and Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) have just received a negative response from the EU Innovation Fund to its application for financial support for its carbon capture project. 138 projects applied for funding from the €1.5 billion pool, and unfortunately the carbon capture project in the Capital Region of Denmark was not among those selected.
We are looking for staff to greet the many cruise tourists that comes through our ports every day and inform them about Cruise City, a brand-new APP.

After two years in which the corona pandemic has negatively impacted tourism in Copenhagen, a normalisation is in sight this year. This applies to cruises as well, where the season this year looks set to once again be able to welcome many visitors to Copenhagen.
Today we welcome Enchanted Princess, from the cruise line Princess Cruises, as the first turn-around call of the year to Copenhagen.
