Copenhagen’s first turn-around call of the year

Today we welcome Enchanted Princess, from the cruise line Princess Cruises, as the first turn-around call of the year to Copenhagen. Enchanted Princess arrives at Terminal 3 at Oceankaj with American passengers, most recently from Skagen, as part of a cruise from the Atlantic. In Copenhagen, she will embark her cruise passengers and then take on new passengers to sail around the Baltic Sea, and she will finally return to Skagen in early May. The ship is 330 metres long and has 1201 disembarking passengers and 445 embarking passengers as well as 1300 crew members on board. The ship is arriving with 2355 passengers and departing Copenhagen with 1599 passengers.

“We are very pleased to receive the first turn-around call of the year in Copenhagen today. We are also delighted to see cruise traffic starting up once again, which will both bring a positive impact to the city in terms of revenue from tourists, as well as generate more job opportunities at CMP,” comments Henrik Ahlqvist, Sales Director Cruise, CMP.

This year’s cruise season in Copenhagen is very similar to the 2019 season, the year before the outbreak of the corona pandemic. Currently, about 350 calls are booked, of which 150 are turn-around calls.
