By & Havn’s advisors are preparing materials for distribution in the prequalification phase with the goal of locating suitable candidates for a design and build contract at the future container terminal in the port in Copenhagen. The task will be sent out at the end of March 2022 the prequalification phase, and the container terminal is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

A new shore power facility was inaugurated today at the DFDS terminal in Copenhagen by, among others, Copenhagen’s Lord Mayor Lars Weiss. By & Havn and Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) have reached an agreement on the basic principles for a new container terminal in Ydre Nordhavn. The location of the new container terminal means that goods to the Capital Region of Denmark can continue to be delivered close to the customers, sparing the environment from added emissions and minimising congestion on the Danish road network.
Companies establishing new operations, collaboration on everything from digitalisation to industrial symbiosis and the decision to expand with an additional 250,000 square metre plot land. The logistics operations in Malmö Industrial Park are growing and being further developed. One of the explanations for this is the close cooperation between CMP and Malmö stad.
