500,000 tonnes of CO₂ will be removed from the atmosphere annually, which will significantly contribute to Copenhagen’s goal of becoming the world’s first carbon neutral capital by 2025. These are the goals of a new CO₂ capture facility at Amager Bakke, where CMP is an integral part of the joint efforts with Amager Resource Centre (ARC).
Today, the Marina cruise ship from the shipping company NCL arrives in Copenhagen. This is the first Turn-Around call, visiting Copenhagen since the start of the corona pandemic, where the ship changes passengers.
By & Havn and Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) have reached an agreement on the basic principles for a new container terminal in Ydre Nordhavn. The location of the new container terminal means that goods to the Capital Region of Denmark can continue to be delivered close to the customers, sparing the environment from added emissions and minimising congestion on the Danish road network.

The logistics operations in Malmö Industrial Park are growing and being further developed. One of the explanations for this is the close cooperation between CMP and Malmö stad.
On Sunday we welcome M/S Hanseatic Inspiration to Copenhagen. It is a "blue cruise" call where the passengers do not disembark but visit the city from the seaside.
M/S Hanseatic Inspiration can carry up to 230 passengers and is 138 meters long and owned by the cruise line Hapag Lloyd. The vessel arrives from Kiel in Germany and will proceed to Marstrand in Sweden Sunday late afternoon.

Last week, the vessel UBC Sagunto called at the Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) terminal in Norra Hamnen, Malmö. The ship was loaded with housing modules, a type of cargo that CMP has extensive experience with.

The cruise line NCL is calling Copenhagen for two days between Monday 21 of September and Wednesday 23 of September with the cruise ships Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Encore. The calls are so called technical calls, enable technical support and provisioning. There are no cruise passengers on board The crew will not disembark the ship and no crew changes will be made.
