Technical cruise call in Copenhagen

As a consequence of the corona crisis, several cruise lines have since long emptied their ships of cruise passengers. Most of these ships have a limited number of crew members on board, which is necessary to maintain the ships. There is therefore a great need for ships to be able to call at ports around the world for what we call “technical calls”.

The cruise line NCL, which has been a customer of CMP for many years, has today called at Copenhagen with the ships Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Encore. The calls enable crew changes for the staff who have been on board for several months, technical support and provisioning. There are only crew members on board, 120 people on each ship.

Relevant permits have been obtained from the authorities before the calls.
