Yesterday, Sunday morning, Hapag-Lloyd's cruise ship Europa 2 called our terminal in Visby.
Today Hapag Lloyd’s cruise ship, Europa arrives at Ocean Quay in Copenhagen for a technical call between 02.00 am – 07.00 am.
Tomorrow, September 1, we are happy to welcome the cruise ship Europa 2, to the cruise terminal in Malmö. The corona pandemic has had a huge negative impact on the cruise season 2020 with almost 100 % cancellations. Some cruise lines are now offering smaller cruises with a limited number of passengers.
As a consequence of the corona crisis, several cruise lines have since long emptied their ships of cruise passengers. Most of these ships have a limited number of crew members on board, which is necessary to maintain the ships. There is therefore a great need for ships to be able to call at ports around the world for what we call “technical calls”.
