2026 marks CMP’s 25th anniversary. The year after the Oresund Bridge opened, Copenhagen Malmö Port was established – at that time the world’s only port company operating across national borders. One port. Two cities. Two countries. Since 2018, CMP has also grown to include a third city, with operations in Visby.

In 2024, CMP entered into a partnership with Green2x focused on the design, establishment, and operation of what is expected to become one of the world’s largest biofuel plants in Norra Hamnen, Malmö.
