Mercedes and CMP in new deal
Mercedes Benz Försäljnings AB in Malmö and CMP have signed a contract relating to the rental of outdoor space and a vehicle handling/service contract.
Mobile cranes in place in Swede harbour
Two totally new mobile cranes are now in place in Swede Harbour in Malmö. These new cranes, which were manufactured by Konecranes, have a lifting capacity of up to 120 tonnes. CMP takes over ownership and operation of the cranes today, 29 September.
Traffic Disruption in Nordhavn
Strandvænget will be closed at Nordhavnsvejen in Copenhagen for eight weeks (from 22/09 to 19/11) due to roadworks.

Barbara Scheel Agersnap has been appointed new CEO of Copenhagen Malmö Port AB, CMP. Jonas Arkestad will simultaneously become deputy CEO.
Container terminal in Copenhagen offers new APP solution
CMP is taking the container terminal in Copenhagen one step further in work to rationalise our processes and is therefore now offering a Mobile Self Service function for hauliers to use. This is taking place in a partnership with PIC IT, who are already our suppliers of the Terminal Operations System (TOS) PIC.
Argentinian full-rigged ship in Malmö
On July 14-17, Malmö was visited by the Argentinian navy’s training ship, the full-rigged ARA Libertad. At 3,765 gross tonnes, the ship, which was built in 1956, is 104 m long and has a draught of 6.6 m. This makes her one of largest ships in her class in the world.

Barbara Scheel Agersnap is since 21st June 2017 Acting CEO. She takes over from Johan Röstin, who leaves CMP for a new job elsewhere.
CMP has received a distinction from the NYK Group
Copenhagen Malmö Port, CMP, received the distinguished accolade ”Certificate of zero Damages FY2016” as a confirmation of the fact that the damage rate for car handling in Malmö is essentially zero. It was announced at the NYK Group Europe Ltd RORO Division’s annual quality conference in Zeebrugge earlier this week.
Maiden Call - Seven Seas Explorer
The cruise ship Seven Seas Explorer will arrive in Copenhagen for the first time on June 18. Seven Seas Explorer is 224 metres long, takes 750 passengers and belongs to the shipping company Regent Seven Seas Cruises. During its time in Copenhagen, Seven Seas Explorer will be berthed at the Langelinie cruise ship quay.
Fine-tuning liquid bulk capacity
Now, liquid bulk handling capacity is being fine tuned. CMP is investing in yet another automatic loading arm at Prøvestenen. This will make loading more effective but also increase safety.
Maiden Call - Mein Schiff 6
The cruise ship Mein Schiff 6 will arrive in Copenhagen for the first time on May 18. Mein Schiff 6 is 295 metres long, takes 2,500 passengers and belongs to the shipping company TUI Cruises. During its time in Copenhagen, Mein Schiff 6 will be berthed at the Langelinie cruise ship quay.
