Welcome Auto Energy!

CMP cordially welcomes UECC to the naming ceremony for MV Auto Energy this week.

Auto Energy, owned and operated by UECC, is powered by LNG for cleaner and more environmentally friendly operations.

At 181 metres long and with a 30 metre beam, Auto Energy is the largest dual-fuel PCTC (Pure Car & Truck Carrier)in the world, and, along with her sister ship Auto Eco, the biggest ever 1A super Finnish/Swedish ice classed PCTC. Auto Energy can complete a fourteen day round trip solely using LNG fuel.

The naming ceremony will take place on Tuesday along with almost 200 guests. The last time a ceremony such as this was held in Malmö was in 1987, and in Copenhagen it was 2013.

CMP is honored to be a part of the naming ceremony, but also to cooperate with a partner which, just like CMP, puts the environment in focus.
