The employer’s organization Sveriges Hamnar and the Dock Workers' Union have come to an agreement earlier today. Therefore, the port conflict has been solved effective immediately. This means there will be no strikes nor lockouts in any Swedish port and operations will run as normal.

Freight handling in Northern Harbour has become more salty, at least temporarily. This is because a load of salt was redirected to North Harbour in late January as the quays in the bulk harbour in Malmö were full.

CMP is very likely to be affected by the lockouts announced by the Transport Workers’ Union today, since CMP in Malmö is one of the ports that has received strike alerts from the Dock Workers' Union. CMP plans to continue its operations to a large extent.
Expected lockout dates are: January 23 and 27.
