The annual and sustainability report for 2023 is now available

CMP’s annual meeting was held 4 June in Malmö, Sweden. The website is now updated with the latest annual and sustainability report, which you can read here.

Summary 2023:

  • Turnover totalled MSEK 976.1, an increase of 11% compared with the previous year. Operating profit totalled MSEK 15.8.
-The main reason for the increase in turnover is explained in the dry bulk segment, where CMP achieved the highest dry bulk tonnage ever.
-Increased car imports and RoRo operations have also contributed to the positive development.
  • In 2023, CMP received 4665 vessels, handling a total of 12.5 million tonnes of cargo.
  • CMP received 940 000 cruise passengers, an increase of almost 27 %, and 769 000 ferry and RoRo passengers (DFDS and Finnlines), an increase of around 16 %.
  • Carbon emissions decreased by 26%. Since CMP started measuring carbon emissions in 2020, the total reduction has amounted to 68 %. The goal is to achieve net zero in our own operations by 2025.
