CMP steps up collaboration with the contruction industry

CMP’s focus on delivering logistical solutions to the construction industry is bearing fruit. There is a high level of interest in this new area, as not only are we able to offer large areas in central locations in Copenhagen, but we can also deliver solutions in the form of managing our customers’ logistics terminal so that they can concentrate on construction.

The product is customised for each individual customer, and in this instance, comprises a solution, including a small terminal for WIG Scandinavian A/S, in which we at CMP not only pack containers for the customer and deliver them to trucks, but also look after the equipment that the customer uses on the construction sites to and from storage. The agreement includes an extra 100 containers over the quayside every year, which used to go to another Danish port.

The customer’s activities are expected in November/December 2017, when the customer’s office arrives at our terminal, says Henrik Poulsen, Logistics Sales Manager, Port & Terminal Operations.
