    The Board of Copenhagen Malmö Port, CMP, has given the go-ahead to build a new cruise terminal in Copenhagen. The terminal will be located beyond the current Oceankaj in Ydre Nordhavn and will be able to handle more than 5,000 passengers per call.

    On July 14-17, Malmö was visited by the Argentinian navy’s training ship, the full-rigged ARA Libertad. At 3,765 gross tonnes, the ship, which was built in 1956, is 104 m long and has a draught of 6.6 m. This makes her one of largest ships in her class in the world.

    CMP has received a distinction from the NYK Group

    Copenhagen Malmö Port, CMP, received the distinguished accolade ”Certificate of zero Damages FY2016” as a confirmation of the fact that the damage rate for car handling in Malmö is essentially zero. It was announced at the NYK Group Europe Ltd RORO Division’s annual quality conference in Zeebrugge earlier this week.
